Who are Sanya & Alma? 👭

These are my main characters in short stories and they help me learn foreign languages better because I write dialogues with these two to practice, and so on! The characters are based on me and my late sister, so they are also my way of therapy writing. I often fantasize and it looks like this: sisters Sanya and Alma share a love for stories – one loves to write them, and the other explores their roots by studying history. When they return from a peculiar evening out, they encounter a mysterious old woman. The sisters are unaware that she is a very unusual old woman with the power to change their lives! To teach them to live life to the fullest, she gifts them spiritual presents, turning their mundane everyday life into a magical adventure!

Sanya and Alma get unforgettable opportunities to meet historical giants! Each of them imparts some wisdom as they spend time together! From Despot Stefan Lazarević, through Marie Curie and Einstein, all the way to Tesla, the sisters gain extraordinary friends. And maybe they manage to find love? But it’s not just romantic sparks that fly around these historical figures! Everyone would wish to join Sanya and Alma as they face hilarious situations and unimaginable challenges! At the same time, they open up to the world and realize that the greatest adventures often happen within ourselves.

While the sisters experience their adventures, you can learn languages with them! I’m doing that, and it’s a lot of fun! Until I start posting real short stories about their quirky activities, I will use them to practice Spanish. Everything I do here, I’ll write in Serbian, English, and Spanish!
